Week 22: Swiss Sustainability Communication - Analysing Gaps, Opportunities, and Leadership in ESG

This week I have the pleasure of introducing unique research done by one of the leading international sustainability strategy and communication consultancies. It reveals the state of sustainability communication in the richest country in the world, Switzerland. A mere thought of the resources available to Swiss companies would make most sustainability professionals around the world shiver. Yet, as it seems, not all "made in Switzerland" performs like a Swiss railway. I happen to know since I lived in Switzerland for a couple of years, and yes, the trains are both clean and on time. The sustainability communication, on the other hand, unlike the trains in Switzerland, still mostly dangles at the station. I had the great opportunity to meet one of the leading brains behind the research, Mr. James Osborne, who shed some light on the results as well as some rather intriguing conflicts and opportunities growing in the sustainability communication space.
